haustierkost.de Algal Lime is used to compensate for the excess phosphorus that may occur with meat feeding.

Recommendations for use: In order to neutralise phosphorus excess in fresh meat, the following is required:

For 500 g lean beef – 2 level measuring spoons of algal lime

For 500 g bovine head meat – 1½ measuring spoons of algal lime

For 500 g bovine heart – approx. 2 level measuring spoons of algal lime

For 500 g beef tripe – approx. 1/3 measuring spoon of algal lime

For 500g horse meat – approx. 1½ measuring spoons of algal lime

For 500 g turkey meat – 2 level measuring spoons of algal lime

Please note that these amounts are suitable for neutralising the effects of excess phosphorus in raw feeding. To calculate the total calcium intake for each animal, all phosphorus-containing feeds should be included.

We recommend a calcium-phosphorus ratio of approx. 1.3 to 1.
