The omasum is leaner, more delicate and less calorie-dense than green tripe. Omasum is suitable for all healthy dogs and cats of all ages. It is strongly recommended for puppies and older dogs as well as for less active, sensitive or overweight dogs.

Feed material for dogs, cats and ferrets
The omasum is the third compartment of the cattle stomach and, just like green tripe, contains a large quantity of probiotic cultures. The omasum is leaner, more delicate and less calorie-dense than green tripe. Omasum is suitable for all healthy dogs and cats of all ages. It is strongly recommended for puppies and older dogs as well as for less active, sensitive or overweight dogs.

Note: This is a frozen product, minced.
Warning: Despite the use of metal detectors to remove foreign bodies, such as stones, barbed wire or nails, these can still find their way into cattle stomachs and be present in the final product. We therefore recommend that you stir the product with a fork before feeding it to your pet and remove any foreign bodies.
Important order and delivery information!
In order for the feed to arrive in perfect condition, we can only supply frozen meat as a minimum order quantity of 8 kg (for instance, 16 portions of 500 g as a minimum quantity).

The nutritional information is subject to natural variations and depending on the availability of raw materials, the form of presentation may vary.
For a balanced raw diet for adult and healthy dogs, we recommend a diet consisting of 70 - 80% animal-based and 20 - 30% plant-based components.
The animal-based portion should consist of 50 to 60% muscle meat, 20% tripe and rumen, 10 to 15% organ meat, and 10 to 15% raw meaty bones (RMB).
The plant-based portion should ideally consist of 70 to 75% vegetables and 25 to 30% fruit.
In addition, supplements such as salmon oil or omega-3-6-9 oil and seaweed meal should be added to the bowl.

- Up to 6 months of age: 6% of current body weight
- 7-9 months of age: 5% of current body weight
- 10-12 months of age: 3-4% of current body weight
- From 12 months of age: 2-2.5% of current body weight
It is always important to consider the breed-specific characteristics and the activity level of the animal in addition to age and weight when determining the feeding amount.
After opening, store in the refrigerator and consume within a maximum of 3 days, keep closed and store at -18°C.
- Thaw gently in the refrigerator overnight
- If possible, take it out of the packaging and put it in a food-safe container (glass or porcelain)
- Slightly covered or uncovered (BARF should never be thawed in an airtight container)
- Use any drippings that may have accumulated during thawing
Despite the use of metal detectors, it is possible that foreign bodies (stones, barbed wire, nails) may remain undetected in the animal's stomach without affecting the feeding. However, the product should still be stirred with a fork before feeding and any foreign bodies should be removed. Any feed residues remaining in the animal's stomach, such as pumpkin seeds, straw, etc., are not grounds for complaint.
