The basis of our Köttbullar for cats is chicken meat, chicken stomachs and herring. Supplemented with chicken liver, plant fibers and egg, the result is a tasty ration for your cat. To ensure a good supply of nutrients, we also add seaweed, linseed oil and some vitamins and minerals. Of course, taurine and L-cysteine are also included, especially for cats. These are two amino acids that cats absolutely need but cannot produce themselves. They must therefore be supplied in sufficient quantities with food.
The individually frozen balls make this complete menu easy to portion. Simply remove the required amount and defrost only this. The remainder can be stored immediately in the resealable bag in the freezer. Even after defrosting a larger quantity in the fridge, the Köttbullar can still be portioned individually. The xanthan gum contained in the product ensures that they can be portioned. This is a thickening agent that is also used in food production. It is considered safe for dogs and cats to eat, although of course, as with any substance, there may be intolerances.
The "Finest from Finland" product line is characterized by the high quality of the raw materials used and a production process that meets the highest standards. The use of unnecessarily high quantities of antibiotics and other medicines is avoided as a matter of principle. The risk of microbial contamination is reduced to a minimum through regular checks and appropriate hygiene measures and processes.
The majority of raw materials come directly from Finland. However, due to raw material shortages, meat from other European sources may also be processed.

The nutritional information is subject to natural variations and depending on the availability of raw materials, the form of presentation may vary.
For a balanced raw diet for adult and healthy cats, we recommend a food composition consisting of 95% animal-based and 5% plant-based components.
We believe that the daily nutritional requirements of an animal vary due to individual life situations such as activity level (outdoor or indoor cat) or age, and therefore the amount of food given per day should be adjusted accordingly. We are skeptical of the classification of "complete feed" and always recommend a varied diet. Therefore, we consider our BARF Komfort PLUS CAT to be a base feed that can serve as a foundation for a healthy diet and is suitable for meeting the daily needs of a healthy cat. Variations can be made by using BARF Komfort PLUS CAT Beef or Lamb, or by occasionally using a different type of meat (unsupplemented).
After opening, store in the refrigerator and consume within a maximum of 3 days, keep closed and store at -18°C.
- Thaw gently in the refrigerator overnight
- If possible, take it out of the packaging and put it in a food-safe container (glass or porcelain)
- Slightly covered or uncovered (BARF should never be thawed in an airtight container)
- Use any drippings that may have accumulated during thawing
Despite the use of metal detectors, it is possible that foreign bodies (stones, barbed wire, nails) may remain undetected in the animal's stomach without affecting the feeding. However, the product should still be stirred with a fork before feeding and any foreign bodies should be removed. Any feed residues remaining in the animal's stomach, such as pumpkin seeds, straw, etc., are not grounds for complaint.

To ensure that the food arrives at your doorstep in perfect condition, we can only ship frozen products with a minimum order quantity of 8 kg (for example, 32 portions of 250 g or 16 portions of 500 g).
